BEHIND ALSAYRA
Behind Alsayra was my thesis project for my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art institute of Chicago. It takes a known natural landmark in the south of Saudi Arabia with a twist of fantasy and folklore. I started development in July 2025, pre production in September 2025, and worked on production from November 2025 until April 2026.
During that time I was supervising and directing an amazing team of three other animators, two voice actors, and a music composer. The accumulated views on the trailer for “Behind Alsayra” has reached over 62k views on Tiktok, and over 8k views on Instagram.
